A resource used to explore how it feels to be a homosexual person in a world where heterosexuality is the "norm". Use collaborative learning techniques, video clips and kinaesthetic activities. Created as a second lesson on human rights to use with bottom set year 7, but can easily be made more challenging. Activities include discussing famous homosexuals, keys words, a video on being straight in a gay world, writing to argue toolkit and independent writing task. Colourful and student-friendly.
